As Suriya’s forthcoming film 7am Arivu shooting is about to complete, the actor all set for his next film Maatraan. The film’s first schedule is going to start the 2nd week of July. During the first few days the shoot is going to take place in and around Chennai & next the team is expected to leave to Pakistan. Director has decided to film the 2nd schedule in Russia where the film’s heroine Kajal Agarwal, will join the team. Currently the team is busy with the ground work of the film and even Suriya is expected to join them in the script work. Maatraan unit is all set to move to the next phase of actual shooting.

Suriya is playing 5 different characters in the film which is for the 1st time in his career. Expectations are running high on the movie even before its commencement, since the duo previous film Ayan was a huge hit.

KV Anand has retained the Ayan team for Maatraan also, as Harris is composing the music and Subha, for writing the script.
