There is a lot of buzz about Mani Ratnam's pet project Ponniyin Selvan but unfortunately the project has been shelved due to its unimaginable budget. After that the director has worked out two scripts which are completely contrast to Ponniyin Selvan.
It is said that both these scripts are contemporary, one of the scripts is a two-hero project where veteran actor Karthik's son, Gautham Karthik is being considered as one of the heroes while Arya or Mahesh Babu will be the other hero. But if it goes in Mani Ratnam's style like bi-lingual or tri-lingual approaches, both Arya and Mahesh Babu are expected to be a part of the project for the same role in each language.
Coming to the second script penned by Mani has been narrated to Arya by him and with no second thought the actor has given his nod for the project, of course.
So, now the next big question is which project will Mani start first, those who are close to the director confess that he will be going ahead with the project which earns him good returns.
Well, whatsoever the project may be, it looks like Arya for sure will be in Mani Ratnam's next!
