After getting a call from the team of Thadaiyara Thaakka, the actress flew down to Chennai and heard a narration of her role in the film. Prachi was supposed to start the shoot immediately but suddenly she cancelled the shoot by saying that her father is not well. Meanwhile Arun started his shoot of the film and in fact he wrapped up a major portion of his scenes. After few days Arun tried to contact Prachi but she was unavailable and avoiding meeting him.

The team understood that Prachi has ditched them and it incurred a huge loss to Arun Vijay and the producer as whole schedule got cancelled due to her absence. The actress was signed for a whopping amount and was even paid the advance which is yet to be refunded.

This is the reason Arun Vijay is in search of a new heroine for his film.
