Simbu has returned from Pondicherry on June 3 to throw a surprise party to his brother Kuralarasan aka Kural and his friends on the eve of his birthday. The birthday bash took place at an up market hotel in Chennai.

In fact Simbu loves to spend time with his brother Kural and sister Ilakkiya but due to his busy schedules he is unable to be with them. But this time he doesn't want to miss the opportunity to spend time with them so he took his flight to Chennai to celebrate his brother's birthday.

The party was a very much private affair for his friends and family. STR didn’t invite industry friends as he wanted it to be Kural’s day. It is well known that Kural is also turning as an actor and he already started working out and getting ready for his big launch sometime next year.
