Simbu has undoubtedly turned as the most wanted actor in Kollywood with consecutive successes. Not only that he is also busy with has three films which at different stages of productions.

During shooting for Vaanam he simultaneously worked on his other film Podaa Podi, which is right now on the heels of completion. Next to Podaa Podi is

Vettai Mannan which has completed some 20 days of shoot. Simbu is currently shooting for this film at Kollywood's favourite shooting spot Binny mills of Meenambakkam in Chennai.

The team has erected a huge costly set worth approximately 20Lakhs which resembles just like a busy market place. One of the action sequences of the film will be shot in this lavish set. The scene is about the world's dominant mafia kingpins and gangsters gathering for an action. These gangs appoint a smartest and brilliant killer for performing their acts in the market. Both the gangs will be having an auction for this killer and Simbu will be auctioned for a whooping amount by one of the gang. The scene got wrapped up in a couple of days.

Vettai Mannan features Silambarasan, Jai and Deeksha Seth co-starring lead roles while Divya Parameshwaran and Santhanam play pivotal roles.
