This is not at all a family tour but he had gone on a tour to look for locations for his Vishwaroopam. Kamal is in plans of shooting the film in never ever seen exotic locations around the globe. Vishwaroopam an action adventure which is shaping under the direction of Kamal Haasan after Selvaraghavan opted out. This project is Kamal’s costliest production as the budget of the film is touted around Rs 100 Cr.

Vishwaroopam's principle photography starts by the mid of August. Kamal has planned for an initial 45 day schedule which will start with the scenes having Kamal and other supporting actors who are from Bollywood.

Rumours are at a buzz that Deepika Padukone might play the female lead but nothing has been firmed up on the heroine's front.
