The cast and crew including Ajith, Lakshmi Rai, Premji Amaren, director Venkat Prabhu and others have been in Bangkok to complete the remaining one song of the film. Now after wrapping up the song the team is back in Chennai. The shoot of Mankatha is almost completed and little bit of patch work is yet to be completed. On the other hand the post production works and the dubbing works of the film are going on a brisk pace. The audio launch of the film is tentatively slated to take place on July 18^th as per some snoopy sources; however an official statement is awaited from the filmmakers.

Music director Yuvan Shankar Raja is working is working day in and day out for the audio of Mankatha. Producer of the film Dayanidhi Alagiri confesses that the audio have come out exceptionally. The team is working towards an August 12/ 19 release.

Director Venkat Prabhu tweets "Audio is coming out this month no matter what!! Working towards it!! Movie next month for sure!! Da date is a bit messed because of artists date!"
