Now Rahman is waiting for the approval of Rajinikanth and soon after his consent he will be proceeding further. The music director is expected to have a musical sitting with Rajini in a couple of weeks. As the star has fallen ill the works related to Rana have been halted. However, now without wasting anytime the team is working on a brisk pace to complete the pending tasks.

Rana has Deepika Padukone opposite Superstar and is directed by K S Ravikumar. This multi-crore and multilingual film project is being produced by Eros International in association with Soundarya Ashwin’s Ocher Studios.

Rana shoot is going to start from September and the call sheets of all the stars and supporting casts have taken by K S Ravikumar.
