Post state elections expectations on Vijay to foray into politics became multi-fold and fans were eager and repeatedly urged their matinee idol to enter politics. However, Ilaya Thalapathi Vijay's father, SA Chandrasekar has put an end to speculations surrounding this front.
SAC has expressed that he would enter politics and not his son Vijay, he added that Vijay has many commitments in the film industry and hence it will not be possible for Vijay to step in to politics for a few years, and thus it was decided that SAC will heed to the society's needs and serve one and all.
Ilaya Thalapathi is currently busy with work on 'Velayudham' and 'Nanban', and both are moving in a fast pace.
