The first schedule of Osthi will continue till this month end as STR has given only 35 days of call sheet. Simbu who plays Vel Murugan is enjoying each and every moment of the shoot in Mysore.

Simbu says "We initially thought of shooting in Pollachi or Tirunelveli but huge crowds will throng the shooting spot which will cause disturbance for the shoot. So we came to Mysore which is a peaceful place. But unexpectedly people here in Mysore have recognized me and gave a warm reception. Mysoreans are very affectionate and friendly, it’s good to be among them".

Soon after completing Osthi first schedule, STR will move to Vettai Mannan which deals with the tale of a tale of gangsters.
