Director Dharani asked Simbu to gain six pack abs as it would look more apt for the role of a tough cop and the actor without any second thought has started to hit the gym regularly. He has changed his life style totally by following regular exercises, yoga, taking quality food and it took for more than a month for him to get six abs. Currently the shoot of the film is progressing in Mysore.

Now the team is in search of an actress to perform the hot item number (Munni Badnam Hui) however nothing has been finalized but we hear that Shriya Saran, Mumaith Khan, Zarine Khan and even Malaika Arora are in the race to the item number in Osthi.
