A press meet was held and those who were present include producers Lingusamy and his brother Subash Chandra Bose, UTV’s G Dhananjayan and director Prabhu Solomon among others.

The film has been titled as Kumki and will be produced by UTV and Lingusamy’s Thirupathi Brothers Film Media.

The film is about a youngster who lives in a forest and trains wild elephants and domesticates them. How he falls in love and what changes him forms the crux of the story. Vikram has shed ten kilos of weight to look apt for the role. The shoot of the film will take place in forest locations of Kerala, Karnataka, Thailand, AP and Andaman.

Kumki's tagline is, It is ‘a wild love story.
