After winning two nomination at the the Annual Academy Awards this year, Rahman's 'If I Rise' in Danny Boyle's 127 Hours has now been nominated for the World Soundtrack Awards in 'Best original song written directly for a film' category. The event will be held at Ghent, Belgium on October 22, 2011.

A.R. Raham's music in 127 Hours, starring James Franco as real-life mountain climber Aron Ralston, who cut off his arm to escape from beneath a boulder after being trapped for more than five days, had received good reviews for its haunting tracks and wonderful crescendos.
