Harris Jayaraj eager on Nanban & 7am Arivu

Music director Harris Jayaraj is on Cloud Nine! The musician is all excited about his two upcoming big flicks Nanban directed by Shankar and 7aam Arivu directed by Murugadoss. Speaking at a recent event, Harris confirmed that the music of 7aam Arivu, which has Suriya and Shruti Haasan in the lead roles, will be launched within two weeks. He also revealed that the film is in final post production stage and will hit screens for this Diwali. "I am very much excited about 7aam Arivu, it's a big film and will definitely make us proud. The film will be a milestone in the history of Tamil cinema," Harris said.

Harris has used some old instruments to get the feel of ancient music. Talking about the film's music, he said, "The story of 7aam Arivu shifts between 21st century and 8th century. There is a song in Mandarin performed by a Chinese artist. The music was really challenging and interesting." He also assured that 7aam arivu will be a complete entertainer which will be enjoyed by all classes.

Asked about Nanban (Tamil remake of 3 Idiots), which has Vijay, Jiiva, Srikanth and Ileana in the lead roles, the musician disclosed that the film will have five songs, of three have been completed.
