Superstar Rajinikanth was honoured with the 'NDTV Entertainer of the Decade' award at the NDTV-Hindu's Lifestyle Award held at Raintree Hotel in Anna Salai, Chennai on Sunday.

Angelic beauty Trisha won the 'Southern Star of the Year' award, beating her competitors, including Shriya Saran and Hansika. She received the award from Farooq Abdullah. Katrina Kaif won 'NDTV's Entertainer of the Year' award.

Other winners are Sachin Tendulkar (NDTV Indian of the Year), Vidya Balan (NDTV Actor of the Year - Female), Ajay Devgn (NDTV Actor of the Year - Male), Nitish Kumar (NDTV Politician of the Year) and Leander Paes (NDTV Sportsperson of the Year).

Besides Rajinikanth, Katrina Kaif and Trisha, Ajay Devgn, Praful Patel, Home Minister Chidambaram and others attended the event.
