Vikram’s latest outing Deiva Thirumagal is going to cross the 50 day mark today (Sep 2) in screens across Tamil Nadu.

The film is still running in 14 screens in Chennai and suburbs, and still all the screens are getting full during weekends. The film took stupendous openings across the world and turned out to be a hit. The success of the film can be attributed to Vikram’s outstanding performance along with Vijay’s simple straightforward story telling. Even UTV has done promotion activities in the best way possible by visiting all the screens across the state.
UTV Motion pictures is reluctant to give the details of the collections, though the film can be classified as a hit. However, buzz is that the film has collected a share of Rs 3.75 Cr from Chennai city, which is better than any of the recent Vikram films.
