‘Kaakha Kaaka’ vs ‘Force’ (Hindi remake of Kaaka Kaaka)

This has been one of the finest questions that has been putting through the crewmembers of the film ‘Force’. But Genelia becomes the first one to answer the question and she is here to differentiate the basic difference between the original version ‘Kaakha Kaakha’ and ‘Force’.

Yes, while Jyothika played the role of a teacher in ‘Kaakha Kaakha’ the original version, I take on the role of a social activist. Some changes have been made with the characterization of John Abraham as well.

The film is hitting screens shortly and the songs by Harris Jayaraj have already become hit. The song ‘Uyirin Uyire’ has been made to the taste of Hindi audiences titled ‘Khwabon Khwabon’.

The film is directed by Nishikanth Kamat, who initially made the most famous film ‘Dombvili Fast’ that was later remade in Tamil with Madhavan and Sangeetha in lead roles.

Jothika role changed for Genelia in 'The Force' (Hindi remake of Kaaka Kaaka)

Genelia while speaking to the media said, "I am acting in the Hindi film titled Force which is the remake of the Tamil film Kaaka Kaak. In Tamil Jyothika had donned the role of a school teacher.

Since this role will not suit me, my role has been changed as a social worker. Even John Abraham’s role will differ from Surya’s role. Remake is essential even if the roles differ. There is nothing wrong in telling the stories of other language films in other languages. The only minus is that people will start comparing the remake with the original. But I am not worried about that. I have seen Kaaka Kaaka. Jyothika has acted very beautifully.

I am confident that I have acted in her role in Hindi that would not bring disgrace to her. The shooting of the Hindi film Tere Naal Love Hogaya in which I have paired with Ritesh Deshmukh is coming to an end. Apart from this I am acting in the Hindi remake of the Tamil film Santhosh Subramaniam and also in a Telugu film titled Naa Ishtam. I had also acted in the Malayalam film Urumi. I have donned the best role in this film. After this I got offers in Malayalam but I did not accept them."
