Sameera says "These days an item song has been an important part of the film's success. We have come across many item numbers like Munni, Sheila ki Jawani. On seeing the success of those songs I am eagerly looking forward to appear in an item number and some special numbers".
On explaining her decision she further said "Apart from adding glamour quotient to the films such numbers also catch the attention of the audiences. In fact, item songs have become identical to the box office success of movies of late. I feel like there is nothing wrong in doing item numbers".
Sameera is right now looking forward for the release of Vedi. SameeraReddy replaced Anushka in the Tamil version and plays an important role in the film.
