When most of the films churning out of the Tamil film industry are being remade by production houses in North India and modified to suit the audience up north here comes the news that Bollywood film, 'Delhi Belly' that rolled out of Aamir Khan's production house is to be revamped and made into a Tamil film! And the tinsel town birdies have it that Simbu might get to play lead in this remake for he is thoroughly interested in the script, but the film will be sans the foul language of which the original film was drenched with. Right now the star is filming 'Osthi' which is the remake of Salman's super hit film 'Dabangg.'

The Bollywood original that released during mid-2011 was received well commercially as well as critically by film followers. It starred Imran Khan, Vir Das and Kunal Roy Kapoor in the lead roles.

The film also had producer Aamir Khan appearing for an item number! Sources also reveal that Aamir Khan is believed to have confirmed that "a production house is planning to remake the film." When 'Delhi Belly' roles out in Tamil, we wonder who would do the item number for the Tamil version.
