Yuvan’s foray into international hip-hop album

The journey of music director Yuvan Shankar Raja’s rise as the leading music director in Kollywood wasn’t an easy one.  Youngest son of the legendary ‘Maestro’ Ilaiyaraaja, Yuvan was always in danger of being compared with his father irrespective of the hit numbers he churns out on his own.  Like his father did in many films, Yuvan too sings important songs for the heroes in films which have his music.

Yuvan’s music in director Lingusamy’s Karthi-Tamannah starrer Paiyaa and his rendition of songs were well appreciated by the media.  He also sang songs in Siva Manasula Sakthi and Naan Mahaan Alla, which became very popular.  His recent marriage, which was his second attempt at matrimony, has reported upped his musical instincts for he is now planning a hip-hop album.

The planned album would meet international standards and would have numbers which would be liked by the western music lovers.  For composing this album, Yuvan is all set to meet international musicians and singers shortly and hold discussions with them as to how we wants his album to shape up.

After having secured a firm place on top in Tamil films, it appears that Yuvan is aiming to make it count in the international market of music-lovers.
