Goutham Menon is busy shooting Jiiva and Samantha for Neethnae En Ponvasantham. Says the director, ‘I have a passion for Ilayaraja’s songs. I borrowed the famous line from one of his songs.’
The movie went to floors recently and the shoot is on in and around Chennai.
Adds the director, ‘Jeeva expressed his desire to work with me and I was waiting for a right script. Eventually Neethanae En ponvasantham happened. I would desribe Jeeva as a friendly and co-operative star. he is a director’s actor and does what a filmmaker wants’.
Interestingly Goutham Menon is also directing Prateik Babr and Emy Jackson for Ek Deewana Tha, a remake of Vinnai Thaandi Varuvaya in Hindi.
