The South Asian International Film Festival is to be held in New York this year and Mayakam Enna, directed by Selvaraghavan has been selected for it.

Selvaraghavan’s upcoming venture Mayakkam Enna starring Dhanush and Richa gangopadhyay is going places even before it gets  released .According to a press release ,Mayakkam Enna has been selected for the South Asian Film Festival which will be held in New York  later this year. It is worth mentioning that Dhanush’s previous blockbuster Aadukalam was selected and widely appreciated in various film festivals . No wonder Mayakkam Enna audio cds are selling like hot cakes and it is already a hit among the youth.Mayakkam Enna was earlier scheduled for diwali and now it has been postponed for a November release.

GV Prakash's tunes have made the album one of the best sellers of this year and Gemini Music is expected to celebrate the success. Mayakkam Enna was scheduled as a Diwali release with Selvaraghavan and Dhanush making the announcement but finally they decided to put off the release by a few weeks.
