Nandha to romance Andrea in Thiruppangal

Nandha is going places these days, for sure.  After playing hero in many movies, he played a negative role to perfection in debutant director Arivazhagan’s Eeram more than two years back.  Then, he switched onto the hero mode and did a few films before playing Jiiva’s villain in the latest film Vandhaan Vendraan and winning accolades.

Not the one to care much about maintaining a ‘hero’ image, Nandha is back to playing lead roles in his upcoming films Vellore Mavattam and Thiruppangal.  While he pairs up opposite Poorna in Vellore Mavattam, he gets to romance the beautiful Andrea Jermaiah in Thiruppangal.  Andrea was last spotted in Ajith’s Mankatha opposite Arjun in a brief yet effective role.

Andrea, who plays a journalist in the film, says that at this moment, she can’t divulge any more details about the film.  Thiruppangal has been directed by a debutant female director named Saratha.  The film’s script reportedly centres around the popular but unfortunate instances of kidnapping and abduction of children for ransom by goons.  Veteran Madhu Ambat has cinematographed the film which has musch by Vidyasagar.

The shooting of the film, which is in its final stages, would be wrapped up soon and the post-production work including dubbing and re-recording would start soon afterwards.  The romantic sequences between Nandha and Andrea have come off really well, informs a member of the film’s crew on condition of anonymity.
