Rajni's Raana has been dropped!

The mega project of Superstar Rajnikanth Raana has been dropped. Rajnikanth met up with director K.S Ravikumar at the latter’s office and after a two-hour discussion the duo decided to drop the project on grounds that the movie will take one and a half years to complete and requires immense efforts which the actor is unable to provide at this point of time.

It may be a heart breaking new for diehard Superstar fans, but the news has come from the most reliable sources. Reports from the sources closely associated with the movie say that the duo have decided to drop 'Raana' and have decided to work on a new script.

According to the report, Rajinikanth and director K.S Ravikumar had met on a personal meeting at the director's office for discussing about the film's future. It seems that they both have ended up in dropping 'Ranaa' and beginning a new script based on social cause.

Moreover, cinematographer Rathnavelu, who was handpicked by the Superstar himself, will not be a part for the new venture as he has signed to direct a new Kannada film. But, wait for a while for the official confirmations to be done by either sides.

Moreover, Rajnikanth has also offered a new script to K.S Ravikumar which is on lines of Muthu and Padayappa, earlier releases of the Superstar. The new project may commence from January it is expected. An official confirmation in this regard will be out shortly.

It may be mentioned here that Rajnikanth developed health complications during the pooja of Raana and was later flown to Singapore for treatment.
