After his stint with Yuvan Shankar Raja, director Selvaraghavan began working with GV Prakash. Their teaming up in Aayirathil Oruvan and Mayakkam Enna was a great success.


It now comes as a surprise that Selva has decided to sign up Harris Jayaraj for Irandam Ulagam. This film stars Anushka and Arya as the main leads and will go on floors in December this year.
There is news that had difference of opinions and have parted ways. When asked G V Prakash about this, he said,

" Are we both husband and wife to stay together always?".

There is no compulsion that we should work together. I have given the best music for Selvaraghavan’s Aayirathil Oruvan and Mayakkam Enna. Directors need varieties. When the directors work with different music composers, the director’s film will have a different taste in music.

In fact I have keep on telling Selva to make a film that has the music of A R Rahman because it will take him to another level."
