The team of film ‘Thandavakone’ is upset over the Censor Board’s grant of ‘A’ certificate for the film. Adding to their woes the Board has also given many cuts to the film including some key scenes in the climax.


Debut director Subbu Sujatha, former assistant of director Seeman, while criticizing the cuts and the certificate given to the film says, “I wonder why they have granted ‘A’ certificate to this realistic movie. And, the cuts they have made have spoiled the entire course of the story and the climax. We even appealed to the revising committee but they advised some more cuts to the film. They should see films from an artist’s point of view. Otherwise, such realistic movies cannot survive the cuts”!

‘Thandavakone’ features Sanjay and Nandhagi in the lead role and the music is scored by ‘Isaignani’ Ilayaraja
