Venkat Prabhu who is in cloud nine because of the success of Mankatha has seen the film Velayudham and has appreciated Vijay and also has mentioned that the film was good.
But commented that the first half of the film was very racy but the second half has lost its speed because of the dullness of the screenplay.
Though there are good reviews and comments about Velayudham there also some negative comments like these from some quarters.
