Clearly, he has his plate full but STR confesses that he hasn't worked so hard for any other film like he did for Osthi.
The young actor has been a part of mainstream cinema since childhood but 2011 is significant as his most ambitious venture Dharani directed Osthi, in which he plays a character with such myriad shades is complete and that too in record time.
On Wednesday evening, the climax shoot was completed, and the traditional poosnikai (pumpkin) broken. And guess what Dharani gave him? It was a Biriyani feast. STR's close friends know about his weakness for Biriyani which he had not touched for the last two months, to get that beefy body.
STR told Kollyinsider who was a witness to the Biriyani feast: "Finally after two long months, I am hogging on my favourite Biriyani (smiles) Dharani gave me this surprise Biryani festival after we wrapped up the shoot. The whole unit was shocked to see my body especially Sonu Sood who was awestruck, when I took off my shirt"
Silambarasan is proud about Osthi and the way he has gone that extra mile to give his best. The guy oozes self-confidence; one might easily mistake for arrogance, as he loves to call himself "master of all trades".
Osthi a remake of Salman Khan's blockbuster hit Danbangg is now complete and is scheduled to release on November 24. In the night, there was a wrap up party thrown by the Osthi unit at a popular pub which was attended by STR and a couple of his close friends.
