Suriya's undershoot film in KV Anand's direction titled Maatran is progressing its sixth schedule at a rapid pace.
Currently, the shoot is taking place at Chettinad Hospital in Chennai. Thara who was seen as Karthik's sister in Agni Natchathiram is playing Suriya's mother role in the film and scenes on her are canned in the schedule.
Suriya-KV Anand-Harris Jayaraj had earlier teamed up for a hit film Ayan and so the expectations on the Maatran are high since this is the trio's second combo. Script is by Subha. Maatran is being produced by Kalpathi S Aghoram under his banner AGS Entertainment.
