Simbu's upcoming film under the direction of Dharani titled Osthi (Bollywood blockbuster Dabangg Tamil remake) movie expected to release in November.

OSTHE, a remake of Salman Khan’s Dabangg has been censored by Chennai regional censors.
The film has got a ‘U’ certificate, making producer T Ramesh of Balaji Real Media very happy.

Osthi has Silambarasan and Richa in the lead along with Sonu Sood, Jithan Ramesh and others. The film has an item number by Mallika Sherawat with music by Thaman.

The film has now been confirmed as a December 1 release through Reliance Entertainment

Earlier it has a huge expectation that it would clash with Dhanush’s Mayakkam Enna, but finally gave a way for Mayakkam Enna.

It is known that, Simbu and Dhanush are close friends and he don't want to clash with Dhanush at box office. It is also good for Tamil film industry to maintain a gap between two big films.

The film is directed by Dharani and Sonakshi Sinha's role is played by Richa Gangopadhyaya. Revathi is doing hero's mother role. Sonu Sood continues as the villain in the Tamil version. Jithan Ramesh plays the role of Simbu's brother in the film, which was originally played by Arbaz Khan. Gopinath will handle the camerawork. S Thaman handles the music.
