Producer Council president SA Chandrasekar, attended his first audio launch after taking over office, today at the Sathyam cinemas.
The film was APM Productions' Padam Parthu Kadhai Sol, the maiden venture of producers S Mani and S Rangaraj.
The film stars Shikha of Kola Kolaya Mundrika fame and new face Darshan who plays the second hero while Tarun, who has played villain earlier now turns hero.
"It's a very happy day for me to get this opportunity to play hero after starring in films like Kaalai, and others as anti hero," said Tarun.
The audio was launched in a grand manner with a host of Kollywood celebs gracing the stage including Bharath, A Venkatesh, Cheran, Rasu Maduravan, Kozhandhai Velappan, Kalaipuli Thanu and others.
Ganesh Raghavendra of Renigunta fame has given the music. Three songs and a trailer were shown. Said SAC, "Its good to welcome producers like these, who are encouraging new faces and talent.
Any one can cast big stars and make money. Directors should also screen their films before a private audience and get their feedback to make corrections if any, before release."
Cheran said, "Money alone is not enough to realize ones dreams. Making films incurs meeting many pitfalls. One should know the craft and the trade and learn about it before coming in."
In response to this, Thanu added that new council was trying to educate new producers on cost cutting and production tips so as to encourage them to produce films in the right way since many are first timers. Bharath added that the title was both attractive and aroused the curiosity to see the film in the viewer.
The film's cameraman is Dipu S Unni who is a Rajat Kamal winner and has several awards to his credit already.
