STR's eagerly awaited Dharani directed Osthi, a remake of Salman Khan's Dabangg has been censored by Chennai regional censors.


The film has got a 'U' certificate, making producer T Ramesh of Balaji Real Media very happy.

Osthi has Silambarasan and Richa in the lead along with Sonu Sood, Jithan Ramesh and others. The film has an item number by Mallika Sherawat with music by Thaman.

The film has now been confirmed as a December 1st release through Reliance Entertainment.
