Suriya aling with Michelle Yeoh at the closing ceremony of IFFI

New Delhi, Nov 17 (PTI), While Bollywood superstar Shah Rukh Khan will inaugurate the IFFI, the festival has roped in southern star Suriya and Hollywood actress Michelle Yeoh for the closing ceremony.


King Khan will flag off the 10-day long International Film Festival of India, which runs from November 23 to December 3.

Suriya, a big name in South cinema, is best known for super hit movies like ''Perazhagan'', ''Vaaranam Aayiram'' and ''Rakht Charitra'' while Yeoh, a regular to India, is known for her roles in ''Crouching Tiger, Hidden Dragon'', Bond film ''Tomorrow Never Dies'', ''Memoirs of a Geisha'' and ''The Lady'', where she takes on the role of Aung San Suu Kyi.

The closing ceremony will also see eminent French filmmaker Luc Besson, whose retrospective is a part of the festival.

More than 100 movies from 65 countries will be screened during the festival''s 42nd edition of the festival.

Other celebrities expected are Bertrand Tavernier, Michelle Yeoh, Laurance Kardish, Adoor Gopalakrishnan, Dan Wolman, Raima Sen, Dino Morea, Prem Chopra and others.
