At a time when the whole India going crazy behind 'Why this kolaveri di...', a single track from Dhanush's forthcoming film '3', STR aka Simbu has claimed that it was he who started this trend in Tamil film industry.

"My fans say that it was me who gave birth to this trend in Kollywood, with songs like Loosu penne... ('Vallavan') and Evan di unnai pethaan... ('Vaanam'). I am happy that it is going viral," he says.

On his recent venture 'Osthi', Silambarasan says, "The opening was just amazing. And this came after all hurdles faced by the film. I should thank my fans who are giving me good support from the beginning of my career."

Saying that 'Poda Podi', one of his forthcoming films, is almost over, Simbu says he is now focusing on 'Vettai Mannan'. "It is an unusual thriller which will be loaded with surprises," says the actor.
