For this Pongal festival only two Tamil films are having its big release.


The latest buzz in the trade sources is that Shankar’s magnum opus Nanban which has Vijay, Jiiva, Srikanth, Satyraj,S.J.Suryah,Ileana and Anunya in the lead will be released on January 12th which gives two days ahead of other releases Vettai .

‘Nanban’ will have an earlier release, on 12th January, and ‘Vettai’ on 14th. We all know that both Nanban and vettai are equally very anticipated.And both the movies have a powerful star cast.

Nanban has Jeeva,Illeana,Srikanth,Vijay and Sathyaraj in lead roles. Whereas Vettai has Arya, Maadhavan, Sammera and Amala Paul in the main roles. The former is directed by Shankar, Where the latter is done by N.Lingusamy.

Both the teams are looking for a healthy competition says trade circles. So Vijay fans can see their Ilayathalapathy after 11days of the New year.

Nanban produced by Gemini Film Circuit is the remake venture of Bollywood blockbuster 3 Idiots. The movie is expected to entertain all classes of audiences, as we can expect class cum mass elements from the director.

Anyways, This Pongal will be a great one for the fans.
