Radhika Sarathkumar has been elected as the president of Tamil Nadu Chinnathirai Thayarippalargal Sangam, the apex body of those producing content for television channels.
Other office-bearers and members of the association have conveyed their wishes to her.

The popular actress, who runs the production house Radaan which is behind many successful mega serials and other television programs, was elected to the top post at an emergency general council meeting of the association in Chennai on November 27.

"The meeting was presided over by the association's general secretary Sankar. Radhika was elected as president unanimously by all the members. She is planning to implement some important initiatives aimed at benefiting small screen producers," sources said.

It is to be noted that Radhika's husband Sarathkumar is the president of South Indian Film Artistes Association. Now with Radhika bagging a key position in another industry body, the couple is going great guns, one has to say.
