It is heard that Vijay is shooting on the roads of Mumbai for Thuppaki. Sources say "Vijay is so dedicated, that he is on the sets early in the mornings and is shooting till late in the evenings."

Ilayathalapathy is continuously shooting for Thuppaki in Mumbai from last two weeks and the only break he has taken is for Nanban audio launch in Coimbatore. The actor had taken the flight to Coimbatore after completing the morning schedule of Thuppaki and then returned back taking the immediate flight after the event is completed.

Ace cinematographer Santosh Sivan is cranking the camera for Thuppaki. Thuppaki casting Vijay and Kajal Agarwal in the lead roles is shooting in the locations of Mumbai.
