UTV Movies and Thirupathi Brothers present Vettai, a full-on action entertainer. Directed by Lingusamy, the movie has a good-looking line-up of stars in the lead: Madhavan, Arya, Sameera Reddy and Amala Paul.
Director Lingusamy and Madhavan have already given a super hit with Run and that alone has raised everyone’s expectation. But one look at the on and off-screen crew and those expectations just shoot up to the skies!

Another big name on the credits of Vettai is Yuvanshankar Raja. Lingusamy and YSR gave a tremendous music album in Paiyya and that same magic is what they hope to create with Vettai. The music launch for the movie took place at the Anna Centenary Auditorium amidst much fanfare. The key cast of the movie were present at the event, that also celebrated Lingusamy’s ten-year stint in cinema. Actors Jiiva, Jayam Ravi, Parthiban, producers T. Shiva, Elred Kumar, Thenappan, Abirami Ramanathan, editor Antony, cinematographer Nirav Shah, art director Rajeevan, lyricst Na. Muthukumar and many other big names in the film fraternity graced the event.

The star of the show Yuvanshankar Raja was also present. “The expectations are high because of Paiyya. But I am sure this album will do well too. One of my fav numbers in the albums is 'Papapa'. It’s probably the first time I have sung a folksy number,” he said.
