She was fast raising to the Numero Uno spot in Tamil and when she was almost at what she aspired the actress shifted her base to Hyderabad to concentrate films in Tollywood, and now she is one of the top heroines there, all busy with 3 big films in hand.


After ‘Siruthai’ with Karthi and ‘Vengai’ with Dhanush in Tamil the actress disappeared from Kollywood. She did not sign any Tamil film after that though she was flooded with offers. And, the actress went tight scheduled in Telugu with top heroes. Won’t she do Tamil films now?

“Yes, I will. When I was doing my last Tamil films, good scripts from Telugu came my way and I signed all those scripts that I liked. I will definitely come back to Tamil as I’m reading 3 scripts now. Not only good scripts I want to do good roles also,” says the actress.

She opened her Tamil account with ‘Kedi’ in 2006 and went on do good films including big hits ‘Kalloori’, ‘Ayan’ with Suriya, ‘Padikaathavan’ with Dhanush, and ‘Paiyaa’ with Karthi.

Tamannaah is currently acting ‘Rachaa’ with Ram Charan Teja directed by Sampath Nandi and ‘Endhukante Premanta’ with Ram as hero and A Karunakaran directing it. ‘Rebel’ is another film in Telugu that she is doing with director Lawrence Raghavendra and Prabhas as hero. The actress has just returned from abroad, from France and China, for her shoot for ‘Endhukante Premanta’ and ‘Rachaa’. Her last release ‘Oosaravalli’ with Junior NTR was a big hit.
