The first single from the soundtrack of Vettai launched on Radio Mirchi today
The hunt officially started today on Radio Mirchi 98.3FM, Chennai's hottest radio station, at 6 pm with RJ MaKaPa Anand! Produced by UTV, ace director Lingusamy's next film Vettai launched a single track from the film, today at the studios of Radio Mirchi.
The film boasts of a star cast that includes Lingusamy, Actor Madhavan (Maddy), Arya, Na. Muthukumar & the eclectic Yuvan Shankar Raja as the music composer for the film took part in the Audio Launch.
Since the Yuvan-Lingusamy combination delivered the musical hit Paiyya, there are a lot of expectations from Vettai as well. According to Arya, the album is the perfect combination boasting of many variations. He says it includes a folksy song, a romantic ballad, an energetic love song and rustic tune, providing ample variety. The song to make its debut is Pappapa...
As a treat to the Mirchi listeners, the entire album sampled on Radio Mirchi during the launch, however, Pappapa... the single track released post the audio launch. Arya says "The Yuvan-Lingusamy team has worked its magic on this album and I must say that it's sounding really good. My favourite is the Pappapa... number, which is the single track launched today."

'Vettai' that is directed by Lingusamy who knows commercial cinema like the back of his hand, has Maddy aka Madhavan and Jammy aka Arya in the lead roles along with Sameera Reddy and Amala Paul. Yuvan Shankar Raja has composed the music for 'Vettai'.
The film is a pucca action entertainer that caters to families and has a good dosage of commercial elements.
