Film '3' is almost completed and ready for release. But, the director of the film Aishwarya Dhanush is furious about media reports that she and other family members – Dhanush and Soundarya Ashwin, are using her actor-father superstar Rajinikanth's name for their career advancements!

"It is very sad that media is writing reports like this without any base in it. Neither I nor Dhanush nor Soundarya is using Appa's name in our films. If that is the case we could have asked Appa to come for our audio launch or film launch of our '3'. And, Dhanush had also never used his father-in-law's name in any of his film promotions or for his career advancements. During Appa's illness also he spoke only on behalf of our family to convey the well being of Appa to the fans and he never tried to project himself using Appa's name," said Aishwarya. She also denied any rivalry between her and her sister Soundarya saying, "She is directing an animated film, as she has already been in that field. Mine is feature film and I always wanted to be a director and directing a movie now. There is no rivalry between us!"

'3' is releasing on February 3rd. The film features Dhanush and Shruti Hassan in the lead and Anirudh has scored the music. The super hit soup song 'Why this kolaveri di…' features in this film.
