Dhanush , after the phenomenal success of Kolaveri Di headed to Kasi for a thanksgiving. He had also completed the entire dubbing work of his wife Aishwarya's directorial debut film 3.

The actor flew alone and visited the famous Kasi Viswanth temple located in Benaras supposed to be the holiest place for Hindus. He had an early morning Darshan to avoid the crowds and for other security reasons.
Kasi is considered as the holiest place where at least once in life, a Hindu is expected to do pilgrimage, and if possible, also take a dip at the River Ganges.

The actor,who is extremely busy was planning this trip for long but was all smiles after he completed his vow to take a dip at the holy Ganges!

Said an ecstatic Dhanush to us: "I loved the place. It is a heaven of beauty, peace and tranquillity. And I'm sure to go back again".

Meanwhile, Dhanush and his wife is in release tensions, as 3 is likely to hit the theatres for the Valentine weekend.
