Today the small budget Vidharth of Mynaa fame Kollaikaran is opening and tomorrow (Jan 14), UTV's Lingusamy directed Vettai is releasing.

Vettai will be releasing in nearly 250 plus screens in Tamil Nadu and is sure to take a bumper opening.
Two big Telugu films Mahesh Babu's Businessman and Venkatesh's Bodyguard are releasing for the Pongal-Sankranthi weekend.

Mahesh Babu's Businessman seems to have an edge as it has got more shows in multiplexes.
Any which way you look the focus w3ill remain on Tamil films during the Pongalweekend.
