This is the time of remakes in Indian cinema. Many films that turned hits in one language are remade in other and the film again posts another victory!
Even the classics and other old hit films of yesteryear are also remade and turn super hits again. Ajith's 'Billa' was a good example that was made from 80s hit superstar Rajinikanth's 'Billa'!

Now, a film is made in Malayalam by acclaimed director Shaji Kailash and it is a remake of 80s Tamil hit Kamal Hassan's 'Kakki Sattai'. Malabar actor Naren, who has featured in many Tamil hits like Mysskin's 'Chithiram Pesuthadi' and 'Anjathe', is doing the lead. The film is to go on floors soon once other cast and crew are decided.

'Kakki Sattai' featured Kamal Hassan and Ambika in the lead role and Sathyaraj played the villain that the dialogues he uttered were very popular during that time.
