The much-hyped Kochadaiyaan starring Superstar Rajinikanth and directed bySoundarya Rajinikanth is all set to go to floors soon.


Rajinikanth is ready to start his next project Kochadaiyaan. The superstar's upcoming movie, which was announced a couple of months ago, will reportedly take off on January 19 because it is said to be an auspicious day.

“The formal pooja will take place at the Superstar's favourite Pillayar temple inside the AVM Studios at Vadapalani," sources say.

The superstar and Sneha, who will be seen as siblings in the movie, will take part in the initial shoots.

Meanwhile, Soundarya Rajinikanth has announced that the hunt for the female lead is still on and they have offered it to Katrina Kaif, who is yet to give a nod.

Sources say that Katrina Kaif will be playing the female lead in the movie, that is being made using 3D Motion Capture technology.

The movie features Sneha and Mirugam fame Aadhi has been signed to play an important role in the upcoming multilingual movie.

"Graphic programmes used for Avatar will be used in Kochadaiyan," said Soundarya earlier.

After completing 'Kochadaiyan,' Rajini and Ravikumar will come together for 'Rana', their long pending project.
