'Maddy has Guru Dutt’s smile' says Dharmendra

Maddy is thrilled that his latest mass entertainer Vettai took a very good opening and his performance is being appreciated by audiences.

He can't stop talking about the romantic song Darmiyaan.. from his next Hindi filmJodi Breakers which he is humming.

But the busy bee that he is, the actor flew back to Mumbai after the Vettaipremiere, theatre visits and promotions to join the unit of Jodi Breakers. He visited the famous Siddhi Vinayak temple in Mumbai along with the team members for a pooja. And guess what made his day?

He met up with Dharmendra,  a close family friend of the producer who came for the pooja. Later Maddy spoke to US: "I can't tell you how excited I was to meet up with my childhood idol and one of the most respected persons in Indian films. He is such an inspiration and I was bowled over by his humility. He kept on looking at me and said that my smile reminded him of Guru Dutt, and we chatted for long"

Madhavan is off to Riyadh for a store inauguration for which he is the brand ambassador and return for the audio launch of Jodi Breakers Jan 20.
