Post Mounaguru, Arulnidhi has managed to turn arc lights on him. Directed by debutant Shanthakumar, Mounaguru has won laurels for him.

Says Arulnidhi, ‘ when Shanthakumar narrated the story, I was floored by it but didn’t know whether I could do justice to such a character-oriented role. I think I was lucky since I could pull it off well’.

‘Even those who criticised me earlier have heaped praise on my performance in Mounaguru, he adds.
Arul is looking at a few scripts now. ‘Mounaguru has shown that strong, true-to-life characters should be my line. I intend toeing it,’ he says.
