Trisha's own voice for Samaran

Flush with the success of her Tollywood venture Bodyguard with Venkatesh, Trisha, who has been critically acclaimed for her performance-oriented role, is in an upbeat mood these days.

Speaking to DC from Bangkok where she is shooting for her upcoming flick Samaran with Vishal, Trisha said, "We rarely get meaty roles these days.

I knew Bodyguard would be a winner the day I signed the movie, not for anything else but because I believed in the script.

My role in Bodyguard was power-packed and emotional and that usually works. I am elated with the feedback that I am receiving.

Being compared to the likes of Savithri and Soundarya is a big honour, but I refuse to accept it because they are legendary.

But I am truly humbled with all the reviews, comments and posts. It's one of the best roles I have played in recent times! Telugu cinema is special for me since they have faith in me and have given me some of the best characters till date!" Trisha can also rejoice that Mankatha, in which she teamed up with Ajith, was the biggest hit of 2011.

The actress dubbed in her own voice for Mankatha and sentimentally, Trisha has decided to dub for Samaran as well – perhaps to repeat the winning magic.

"I had few dialogues in Mankatha and when Venkat Prabhu asked me to give it a try, it really worked.

That apart, it gave me an inner satisfaction.
So, I have decided to dub for Samaran also and I hope that I can pull it off!" she says.
