Director Bala is busy shooting for his next Eriyum Thanal. The movie stars Atharva and Vedhika in lead roles.


Vedhika shot some important sequences in Ramanathapuram recently. She says, ‘it was a dream-come-true moment when I was approached for Bala sir's film. The female leads in his films have very strong characters.’

The buzz is that since the film is set in the backdrop of a fishermen village, Bala wanted Vedhika to look the part.

Reportedly, he asked the actress to become a few shades darker for her role by standing under hot sun. We hear she will also be seen sans makeup in the film.
