FEFSI union will hold a protest on 5 February at Vadapalani in Chennai seeking Tamil Film Producers Council to immediately implement wage hike for its members who work in various Tamil films.

Following the ongoing tussle between the Tamil Film Producers' Council (TFPC) and the Film Employees' Federation of South India (FEFSI) over a proposed wage hike for daily workers, film shoots have been cancelled for the past 10 days.

Meanwhile producers have knocked the doors of Tamilnadu Chief Minister J Jayalalithaa and take an amicable solution.
